Tessie's Tales is the account of our family's journey to find home in the very special community of Tesselaarsdal. This story is more than just a narrative, it is an opportunity to reach out to a wider world, inviting them to be a part of building a brighter future for all Tessies children, while laughing at our mishaps and naivety.
Our vision is to create safe spaces for the education, empowerment and support of Tessie's youth, as well as opportunities to have some wholesome fun. Obviously the extent of what we can build will depend on the resources available. Initially, phase one is to build a multipurpose hall, equiped with ablutions and a kitchen. There after we would like to build outside sporting facilities, a games room, learning centers equiped with computers, laundry facilities and a community cupboard, and what ever else the children may need.
